Getting old and had enough fun for one day so I stopped short of Quesnel. Will be heading back tomorrow. May do a short day.
No more remote than some of the areas out west that I have been through, probably less, and less planning required.
Started out in the low 50's again and never got above 70. A few light showers here and there, but all less than 5 minutes or so. All in all a good day for riding and great scenery.
Best ride of the whole trip started about 40 miles outside of Hyder. Terrain unbeatable.

This afternoon I almost met up close and personal with a large buck. When I saw him running down the bank I locked it down but was on a collision course with him. He made it up on the shoulder of the road almost to the white line about 20 feet away from me, did a quick turn around and headed back into the woods. If he had continued forward, I do not think that I would have been able to stop in time.
Made a quick trip into Hyder, got the pictures but did not brother to get the T-shirt.
Crossing back into Canada was really no problem. Great looking female border guard. She asked me where I was from, my name, address, phone #, and if I was married. When I said yes to the latter, she said that she was sure that something could be worked out. Finally I convinced her that it was no need trying and she let me on through. She was fun to talk to though.
Staying in Stewart tonight.
