Just north of El Paso I left the Interstate and cut over to Hwy 9 in New Mexico. I was heading west while continuing to run parallel to the border on my left. Felt good to get on the back roads again.

Reached the border at Douglas / Agua Prieta and crossed with no problem. Took about 30 minutes to get my Tourist Permit and my Vehicle Import permission. Headed to the south side of Agua Prieta, found my hotel, and settled in for the night.
